Monday, September 16, 2019

Fighting "Imposter Syndrome," that nagging feeling in the back of your mind that you aren't up to the job and may be found out. Then we shift focus to harnessing your personal style to increase your productivity.

This show originally aired February 1, 2018.

Ever feel like an imposter, a fraud, a phony? Are you afraid of being "found out" and exposed for who you really are? You're not alone. It turns out, even the most accomplished among us experience "Imposter Syndrome."

The key symptoms? Anxiety, perfectionism, self-doubt, and fear of failure. Seventy percent of successful people report feeling this way despite their achievements. The solution, says one of our guests, is radical confidence. Mike Collins explores that and we find out how to overcome "imposter syndrome."

Then, "work smarter, not harder" is an attractive mantra. But how do you do that exactly? We talk about howidentifying your personal productivity style can help you streamline and organize your work. One of our guests says doing so can help you work more simply and live more fully.
