  • Today's headlines can leave us feeling bleak, confused and helpless. Forces of de-humanization are all around us: technology, mass production, consumption, marketing, mechanization, environmental destruction, racism, sexism, conflict, war.

How do we move forward together in times fraught with division?

Our next Forum holds space for this difficult conversation. Mark Peres, founder and executive director of The Charlotte Center, and professor of ethics at Johnson & Wales University, will offer his thoughts, drawing on philosophy, history, social science, and wisdom traditions.

We look forward to gathering with you.
