Court Rules Against Gay-Marriage Ban in California

In California, San Francisco Superior Court Judge Richard Kramer rules that a state law banning marriage of same-sex couples is unconstitutional. The decision comes in response to two lawsuits challenging the law, which only recognizes marriages between a man and a woman.
