West's Death Reveals Stigma of Cosmetic Surgery

When Donda West, mother of rap artist Kanye West, died after undergoing cosmetic surgery, many bloggers commented that she was to blame for electing for the operation.

Robin Givhan, Washington Post fashion editor, says it's unfair for society to demand one ideal body type, and then disapprove when women try to achieve it. Her article, "Plastic Surgery's Allure Cuts Both Ways" appeared Sunday in The Washington Post.
