For the 18 years Alan Greenspan conducted U.S. monetary policy at the Federal Reserve Board, investors, economists and the media hung on to his every word. Now that we know central bankers' aren't all-powerful, have we been mistaken to pay so much attention to him? Greenspan said: yes.
