Soulsavers is a down-tempo electronica duo made up of English producers and remixers Rich Machin and Ian Glover. After releasing several popular seven-inch singles in the early 2000s, the pair released its debut, Tough Guys Don't Dance.
The duo's latest album, It's Not How Far You Fall, It's the Way You Land, features vocalist Mark Lanegan — formerly of Screaming Trees, but also known for collaborations with Isobel Campbell and The Afghan Whigs' Greg Dulli — on eight of its eleven tracks. The result, as heard on the hit "Revival," is a unique mix of hip-hop, rock, country, soul, and gospel, recently deemed suitable for inclusion on Grey's Anatomy.
