Hil St. Soul is tearing up the charts in the United Kingdom, but the soul duo hasn't received much attention here in the States yet.
Hilary Mwelwa and Victor Redwood Sawyerr just released their third album of R&B and soul. It's called Black Rose.
Mwelwa was born in Zambia but moved to the U.K. as a child. She talks about her life as a black British singer and musical influences while growing up in London.
