Formed in Melbourne and based in London, The Temper Trap built a U.S. following the old-fashioned way: through placement of its hit single in an assortment of commercials for cola and cars. The band's sturdy and soaring anthems -- most notable among them "Sweet Disposition" -- don't suffer for the transition from club stages to the festival circuit. The band released its full-length debut, Conditions, last year, and it's been gathering momentum ever since.
