UNC-Chapel Hill has released documents that show a group of Tar Heel football players accumulated $13,125 in parking tickets over 3.5 years. A judge had ruled in April that the school withheld documents it should have provided to media outlets that requested them as part of coverage of the NCAA investigation into the football program. The university says student-athletes are expected to pay parking fines like any student. The News & Observer reports 30 of the 395 citations remain unpaid. The university did not reveal how much money is owed from those tickets.
