Why We're Excited: Tristen Gaspadarek used to tour as a member of Jenny Lewis' band, an association that makes sense when you devour the lilting jangle of her third solo album, Sneaker Waves. Tristen — she records under her first name — sings with a beguiling sweetness that cuts nicely against her taut, acerbic songwriting. (And, yes, that's Lewis singing backup in "Glass Jar.")
