The owner of a popular bottle shop and bar in Charlotte’s NoDa neighborhood has pleaded guilty to nine felony counts of embezzling state property.
Prosecutors say Jason Glunt, owner of Salud Beer Shop, withheld more than $440,000 in state and county sales taxes between 2014 and 2024.
According to the state, Glunt has repaid $100,000 and will repay the remaining balance over the next several years
