Charlotte's Noblezada Nominated For Tony
Charlotte’s own Eva Noblezada has just received her second Tony nomination. The 23-year-old alumna of Northwest School of the Arts has been nominated for Best Leading Actress in a musical for her performance in "Hadestown" on Broadway.
Noblezada plays Eurydice in "Hadestown," which opened on Broadway earlier this month. "Hadestown" tells the story of young lovers Eurydice and Orpheus, and entertwines it with the well-known tale of King Hades and Persephone. The hit musical is up for 14 Tony nominations this season.
