Charlotte-Mecklenburg police officers pulled over two men this weekend who were riding down South Tryon Street in a couch balanced across two electric scooters.
It’s unclear if the couch-surfers received a citation, but in a social media post, police urged residents to think about road safety before taking their living room furniture for a spin.
CMPD added that mobile furniture displays are best left to IKEA.
