Part One: Elizabeth Strout Local author of this year's Pulitzer Prize for Fiction joins us today. Based in New York, Elizabeth Strout is a member of the faculty of Queens University of Charlotte, and comes to Charlotte to teach a few times a year. While she's in town we'll sit down and talk about writing, winning the Pulitzer, and of course about her book of short stories, Olive Kitteridge, all of which centers on the title character who is a forceful, powerful and also flawed woman.
