CMS Board Chair Eric Davis We're joined by Eric Davis from the CMS Board to talk about the budget for the school system next year. The board is expected to vote Tuesday night (May 10) to add $45 million to Superintendent Peter Gorman's 2011 budget request in an effort to save jobs within the system. Board Chair Davis has been vocal about the system being stretched to full capacity and says that further cuts will mean harm for education for students at CMS. We'll talk about the importance of the additional money and what cuts are in store if the county rejects the request.
