Wildlife Habitats in the Charlotte Region

http://66.225.205.104/CT20120618.mp3

Wildlife Habitats in the Charlotte Region Charlotte and its surrounding towns have a wealth of wildlife in terms of plants and animals. People and organizations in our region are working to educate the public about the benefits of retaining and protecting our natural wildlife habitat amidst the tremendous growth our region has seen in recent decades. We'll be joined by area habitat stewards who will share ideas on how to attract more wildlife to your yard, school, church or community, and meet a local mayor who is helping his whole town work to become a community wildlife habitat. Guests Carol Buie-Jackson - Habitat Steward and Vice President of the North Carolina Wildlife Federation. She's also owner of Bird House on the Greenway in the Shops at Piper Glen Debbie Foster - Habitat Steward affiliated with NC Wildlife Federation Mayor Jim Taylor - Mayor of the town of Matthews, which is participating in the project, Matthews Naturally which is in partnership with the NC Wildlife Federation Add and read comments
