Hummingbird Research in Charlotte (Rebroadcast) It's peak hummingbird season in our region and bird enthusiasts and researchers alike are gearing up to learn what they can about these tiny birds as they "flock" to the area. Chief among the researchers is Susan Campbell, who has been capturing, banding and releasing hummingbirds in North Carolina since 1999. She'll join us to talk about why it's important to research hummingbirds, and about what she's learned so far - including migration patterns and their feeding habits. Plus, learn how to attract more to your yard.
