Historic Elmwood Cemetery opened in 1853. More than 45,000 Charlotte citizens rest in peace under a canopy of colorful fall foliage - or maybe not. Restless souls whose lives ended in terrible tragedies, valiant soldiers who died in battles, as well as a life taken at the hands of another. These are the stories that can't be portrayed during our April event will now be told by our talented storytellers.
