Thoughts of a Colored Man features a slice of life in rapidly gentrifying Brooklyn through seven Black men’s remarkable stories. Woven together with spoken word these men share their dreams, struggles, and triumphs in a world that often refuses to listen to them.
Directed by Sidney Horton, and featuring a talented ensemble of Charlotte actors – you won’t want to miss the show critics are calling “the most important play of the 21st century.”
Thoughts of a Colored Man contains strong adult language, adult themes around race, and descriptions and depictions of anti-Black sentiments and violence. Recommend for ages 16+.

Horse Shows at the Anne Springs Close Greenway provide entertainment and enrichment for equestrian students and the community!
Held in both the spring and fall, the Greenway's horse shows provide an opportunity for the local equestrian community to showcase their talent and skills. The class list includes more than 30 categories for competition.
Spectators are welcome to watch all or part of our horse shows. The events run from 9am to 5pm, and no advanced registration is required. Please consider bringing your own seating. Parking will cost $5 per car.

Join us for a fun day enjoying the sweetness of this wonderful fruit. Receipts will include a Strawberry syrup to create a refreshing drink and a salad with a wonderful Strawberry dressing. These receipts are sure to delight any taste bud and can easily be prepared at your house! Sadly, we can't share with visitors.
