Group Takes Next Steps to Ban Public Smoking

The health advocate group, Smoke-Free Mecklenburg hopes to strengthen the case for setting smoking bans in public places. It already has support from several municipalities in the county, and tonight it will approach the Charlotte City Council. WFAE's Simone Orendain spoke with Smoke-Free Mecklenburg's Vice Chair, Patricia Bossert.
