NASCAR's top drivers will cap the season tonight in New York City, the site of the sport's annual awards ceremony. 2006 has been a year marked by lower attendance at many tracks and declining TV ratings all over the country, in spite of some major changes designed to attract more fans. USA Today recently explored the slowdown of NASCAR's prolific growth in an article written by Nate Ryan. From New York, he spoke with WFAE's Scott Graf about the trend.
