Democratic State Representative Drew Saunders of Mecklenburg County says he'll run for the House speaker's post currently held by Jim Black. Black has said he wants to keep the speaker's job, despite a narrow re-election victory and ongoing state and federal investigations of campaign fundraising and related issues. WFAE's Mark Rumsey spoke with Rep. Saunders about his bid for the speaker's post.
