Davidson police on Thursday afternoon stopped a vehicle traveling east on Griffith Street and arrested the driver, John Morse, on a charge of possessing a vehicle resembling a law enforcement vehicle. Mr. Morse was wearing a taser, ASP baton, and pepper spray, according to police, and his vehicle closely resembled a law enforcement vehicle, though it was registered to a private owner, Det. Steve Ingram said in an email. Police would like to know if anyone has been stopped by this vehicle or has seen this vehicle in their community. If so, please contact Det.
