Bobcats 'Re-energized' As Playoffs Begin

The playoffs begin Sunday afternoon in Miami for the NBA’s Charlotte Bobcats. It’s only the second time in the team’s history they’ve made it to the playoffs. Bobcats forward Josh McRoberts says he and his teammates are re-energized.

“It’s a new season, when the playoffs start," he said in an interview on Bobcats.com. "Everybody starts 0 and 0 again. So there’s new energy for everybody throughout the league. Obviously we’re excited to get going. But I don’t think that’s any different than any other team at this point.  Everybody’s re-energized, and ready to go for a new season here.”

The Heat will be a tough foe. They’re the two-time defending NBA champions and they’ve only lost to the Bobcats four times in their past 23 meetings, and they’ve wont the past 15 straight since LeBron James, Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade became teammates.  But the Bobcats are hot – with  20 wins and only 9 losses since the All-Star break.

Game time is 3:30 Sunday afternoon.
