Gaston County Student Arrested For Threat Of Mass Violence At School
A 17-year old student at Forestview High School in Gastonia was charged with making a false report of mass violence after they say he threatened to shoot some teachers and students there.
According to the Gaston Gazette, police say Hunter Bazzle told some students on Monday that he was going to shoot three teachers and several students at the school and then turn the gun on himself. Bazzle was not in possession of any weapons when he was arrested by a school resource officer at his home on Tuesday.
He remains in jail on a $250,000 bond and is not allowed on campus at any Gaston County school if he does post bail. A spokesman for Gaston County Schools said parents were notified on Wednesday of the incident.
