Emergency crews responded to the scene of a Charlotte-Mecklenburg school bus crash in north Charlotte early Thursday morning. CMS says the 15 students and driver of the bus bound for Ransom Middle School are OK, and that only minor injuries were reported.
The wreck happened around 8:30 a.m. Photos taken by WSOC at the scene show the bus crashed into the side of what looks to be a townhome or apartment building. Witnesses say the bus appeared to swerve and lose control before slamming into the building.
