A 41-year-old man died Sunday while tubing on Lake Norman.

N.C. Wildlife Commission Sgt. Ron Robertson said officers were called around 2:15 p.m. to the area known as "No Man's Land" off Stonemarker Road in Mooresville.

Robertson said Gregory Moore was with two other men on an inner tube being pulled behind a boat.   The driver stopped the boat, and when it restarted, Moore fell into the water and never resurfaced.

His body was found several hours later. Robertson said neither Moore nor the other two men on the tube had life jackets. He said no charges will be filed.
