Renee Rallos

Renee Rallos is WFAE’s executive operations manager. Since 1996, she has worked in the areas of communications, community outreach and partnerships, events, marketing, public relations and unofficial station historian.

Over her career, she has managed many of WFAE’s biggest events including national visits by StoryCorps, “The Moth,” “Talk of the Nation,” “A Prairie Home Companion” and “Wait, Wait… Don’t Tell Me!”

She also has managed visits from numerous public radio personalities including David Brancaccio, Diane Rehm, Carl Kasell, Lynne Rossetto Kasper, Kai Ryssdal, Michel Martin, Ira Glass and others.

Renee is a longtime member of PRSA and its Charlotte Chapter. She has degrees from UNC Asheville and the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

Although she has lived in Charlotte for more than 25 years, the coalfields in southern West Virginia will always be home.
