Vice President JD Vance is expected in the Charlotte area this week to address crime in the wake of Iryna Zarutska's murder last month on Charlotte's light rail. The White House said Vance is visiting Concord, north of Charlotte in Cabarrus County, to talk about the Trump administration's approach to law enforcement. No further details were immediately available.
