Bill Kristol has had a long career in politics, as a teacher, a staff member in the Reagan and Bush administrations, and founder of  "The Weekly Standard" (now defunct). 

These days, Bill Kristol is spending time in the Charlotte region, serving as the Vann Professor of Ethics and Society at Davidson College.

He’ll speak Monday night at Davidson about the coming presidential election. The discussion, along with Axios founder Mike Allen, is titled “2020: It Only Gets Worse From Here”.

Host Mike Collins asked Bill Kristol about his thoughts about the nature of politics today and what he thinks we should expect this election season.
