You may be planning a vacation this summer, but politics is not.

The onslaught of summertime politics includes the candidate filing period beginning in local elections.

The Supreme Court decides on gerrymandering and North Carolinians are wondering what's next

North Carolina has a vetoed state budget and is voting on an override. There's a special election in the 9th District, and a potential sales tax hike in Mecklenburg County.
