Send your name into space aboard Artemis II

AILSA CHANG, HOST:

The Artemis II mission is getting closer and closer.

SCOTT DETROW, HOST:

And now, NASA says, is your chance to orbit the moon with the astronauts.

CHANG: Well, kind of - your name can anyway.

DETROW: Along with the four astronauts aboard the Orion spacecraft, there's going to be an SD card.

CHANG: And your name could be on it.

DETROW: The mission may launch in early February. That all depends on whether the vehicle and the crew are ready.

CHANG: And the weather, you know, the forecast.

DETROW: It's pretty easy to submit your name at nasa.gov.

CHANG: Or the name of that ex you never, ever want to see again (laughter).
