The "Voting in 2020- You've Got Questions We've Got Answers" Town Hall will take place on Wednesday, October 21st from 6 pm-7 pm via zoom. The town hall will feature a panel of experts who will provide information on the most pressing questions regarding the 2020 election including how to register to vote, who can vote, how to track your ballot, etc. Our panelists include: The Executive Director of Mecklenburg County Board of Elections, Michael Dickerson, President of the League of Women Voters of Charlotte Mecklenburg, Delores Hurt, A current political science student at Johnson C. Smith University, and we will have a special message from former First Lady, Michelle Obama.

The virtual season kick-off of Music and Museum launches Sunday, October 25 at 6 p.m. and will be performed on the Bechtler's Outdoor Sculpture Terrace. Surrounded by sculptures from Richier, Hepworth, and Bill, the Bechtler Ensemble will dedicate this special concert in appreciation and honor of former Executive Vice President, Christopher Lawing, with music from British composer Vaughan Williams and French composer Jaques Ibert. This month, the Ziad Jazz Quartet pays tribute to the life and music of Jazz legend Hank Mobley. The Quartet will take center stage at The Playroom to perform Mobley's compositions such as "High & Flighty", "The Morning After", "Madeline", and many others. Performing alongside Ziad Rabie on tenor saxophone will be Sean Higgins on piano, Ron Brendle on bass, and Al Sergel on drums.

Caldwell Arts Council is hosting a retrospective art sale featuring the works of JW Etheridge and Virginia Sauer at the Caldwell Arts Council January 6, 2023 – January 27, 2023.

The sale will include original art from both artists’ estates. Pieces will be sold as is and may not include frames. Both artists primarily focus on oil and acrylic works, featuring still life, landscapes, and floral scenes.
