Violence in the Workplace (Rebroadcast) Homicide is the fourth-leading cause of job-related fatalities in the United States. Last year, 506 Americans were killed as a result of workplace violence. From a California beauty salon where a man killed eight people, including his ex-wife, to a murder-suicide at a home improvement store in Concord, domestic violence is creeping into the workplace.
