Racism Discussions In School
For decades, race and public education have been two sides of the same coin and the discussion of those two topics is unfolding again as the Charlotte/Mecklenburg School Board talks about pupil assignment to break up pockets of poverty. We don’t always recognize race or racism but there is a new film aimed at getting kids to begin discussing the topic – what it means and what it looks like. We hear from that film’s producer.
