Same-sex marriage is legal in all 50 states but the attitude of many churches varies widely. Some denominations stand pat in their opposition while others have made allowances or thrown open their doors to same-sex couples. But even in some of those churches, controversy remains. A major Christian denomination is about to take up the topic at their general conference so we take a closer look at religion and same-sex marriage.
