Charlotte Talks host Mike Collins sits down with a panel of tech experts to get an update on a few technology trends like the imminent arrival of 5G to some cool new gadgets.

5G is being billed as a game changer for consumers — offering faster mobile connections, better streaming, and more reliable cell connections across the nation. It been rumored for a while, but it’s official: 5G is coming to Charlotte by the end of 2019.

Federal investigators are looking into Facebook for the way it handled its users’ personal information. They have set their sights on the company’s chief executive, Mark Zuckerberg, exploring his past statements on privacy and weighing whether to seek new, heightened oversight of his leadership.

Some cool tech gadgets are also slated to be released soon. The new Samsung Galaxy Fold is coming, and with it a whole new trend of foldable smart phones.
