Fury 325 reopens after repairs, state says ride meets safety requirements

The Fury 325 roller coaster at Carowinds has reopened after being closed for two weeks because of a foundation issue.

In a statement Tuesday, North Carolina Labor Commissioner Luke Farley said all necessary corrections had been completed and that the popular ride now meets and exceeds all safety and operational requirements.

The roller coaster has resumed operations following the repairs and state review.
