Do you enjoy local history? Join the Earl Scruggs Center as we present a “spooky” version of Coffee with the Curator. This month’s event will take place at Sunset Cemetery and feature amazing stories told from the graves of some of Shelby’s most interesting residents. This fun and informative tour through Shelby’s historic Sunset Cemetery will be led by local experts Joe DePriest and Dr. June Hobbs, authors of a forthcoming book about the history of the Cemetery. The group will meet at the main gate of Sunset Cemetery at 10:30 am. Capacity is limited, so please register in advance. Per ESC guidelines, face coverings and social distancing will be required during the program.
