Tahiti Graffiti: Live Paint off with Spoken Word Poetry and Live Music

Tahiti Graffiti: Live Paint off with Spoken Word Poetry and Live Music

On October 3rd at Charlotte Art League from 7pm-9pm, local nonprofit Guerilla Poets will be holding Tahiti Graffiti, a live paint off between 6 amazing local live painters where you, the audience, get to tell them what to paint!

DJ Chocolate Rocket will be spinning throughout live spoken word and musical performances by Myrt’s Son, Mathew Church, Daniel Arthur Gurley and Guerilla Poets (Riot aka Shane Manier, Jah Smalls, Ma Dukes and Nemo Sum!)
This event is a fundraiser in support of our art programming for teens, youth and the elderly. So every ticket sold goes to supporting these incredible programs.
Your live artists participating in the paint off are: DeNeer Davis, Shawn Glover, L.J. Hill, April Lytle, Shane Manier and Emily Achenbaum Harris

Guerilla Poets are a 501c3 nonprofit providing art, music and poetry programming with community partners such as Time Out Youth, Tym Inc Juvenile Detention Teens, Henderson Independent HS, The Relatives, Rowan Helping Ministries, Promise Resource Network, The Arts Empowerment Project, Trinity Living and more.
