The Magnolia Assisted Living and Memory Care Hosts Pickleball Fundraiser to Support
the Alzheimer’s Association
Community event raises awareness and support for families affected by Alzheimer’s and
dementia
The Magnolia Assisted Living & Memory Care, a new
boutique senior assisted living and memory care residence opening in South Charlotte, will
host The Magnolia Spring Pickleball Fundraiser on Saturday, April 4, 2026 from 1:00–
3:00 PM at Sports Connection – Sharon Lakes (8401 Sharon Lakes Road, Charlotte).
The community event will bring together local residents, families, and supporters for an
afternoon of pickleball, connection, and giving back.
A suggested $20 donation per participant will benefit the Alzheimer’s Association, supporting its mission to advance research, provide care and support for families, and ultimately find a cure for Alzheimer’s
disease.
Alzheimer’s disease currently affects more than 7 million Americans, with many families
navigating the emotional and practical challenges of memory loss.
Participants of all skill levels are welcome. The event will include friendly pickleball play,
Magnolia pickleball tournament champion recognition and award, community networking,
and opportunities to learn more about dementia support resources available in the
Charlotte area.
