Picture this: you're in line to see a couple perform two days before Valentine's Day, and their tour is called the Never Gonna Let You Go Tour. How romantic do you think this night's gonna get? Drew and Ellie Holcomb come to Knight Theatre on Thursday, February 12th. They're bringing all of their folk beats to the stage with that hint of worship music that could take this night to an entirely different level.

Embark on a fascinating journey through the skies and cosmos in the interactive aerospace exhibition Above and Beyond!

Above and Beyond celebrates the incredible innovations that have shaped flight – from the earliest dreams of the Wright brothers to today’s space exploration and tomorrow’s cutting-edge aviation technologies.

Explore the frontiers of air and space travel through immersive simulations, hands-on design challenges and dynamic storytelling that brings the history and future of aerospace to life. The journey begins in a wraparound immersive theater, then expands into five themed galleries featuring dozens of interactive stations.

Every bird counts! It’s time for the Great Backyard Bird Count (GBBC), a joint project of the Cornell Lab of Ornithology and the National Audubon Society.

Quietly stroll through the gardens or find a spot to sit and watch, counting birds and recording what you observe, which helps scientists in their study of birds. Volunteers from Wing Haven and the Mecklenburg Audubon Society will be on hand providing guided walks, sharing educational information, and enjoying the count alongside you or your group. Wing Haven is participating in the count on Friday, February 13 and Monday, February 16 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Register for the day you will join us on our website.

Founded in 1970 by seven local artists, the Cabarrus Art Guild has grown to more than 100 members representing a wide range of mediums, from painting and sculpture to fiber arts, glass, and weaving. Based in the historic Clearwater Gallery and Studios, the Guild fosters creativity and community through workshops, demonstrations, and exhibitions. This show celebrates the diversity and talent of artists from Cabarrus and surrounding counties, inviting visitors to explore original works and connect with the thriving local arts scene.

On Friday, February 13, 2026, join us for (Un)Valentines Science on the Rocks. This is a night that trades candlelight for fiber optics and chocolates for chemistry. Whether you are deeply in love, happily single, or somewhere in between, this is the (Un)Valentine’s experience you have been waiting for.

World-renowned guitarist and vocalist John Pizzarelli has charmed audiences for decades with his warm vocals, virtuosic guitar, and engaging storytelling. For this special Valentine’s edition, his celebrated trio brings timeless love songs and swinging classics to the JAZZ ROOM.
Guitarist and singer John Pizzarelli has been hailed by the Boston Globe for “reinvigorating the Great American Songbook and re-popularizing jazz.” In addition to being a bandleader and solo performer, Pizzarelli has been a special guest on recordings for major pop names such as Natalie Cole, Kristin Chenoweth, Tom Wopat, Rickie Lee Jones and Dave Van Ronk, as well as leading jazz artists such as Rosemary Clooney, Ruby Braff, Johnny Frigo, Buddy DeFranco, Harry Allen and, of course, his father Bucky Pizzarelli. He won a Grammy Award in the Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album category as co-producer of James Taylor’s American Standard in 2021.
The JAZZ ROOM provides a casual and intimate setting with tables and a full bar, reminiscent of the classic jazz rooms of yesteryear.

Part romance and part twisted fairy tale, Shrek Jr. is a playful, family-friendly production that showcases the talents of DCP’s up-and-coming young performers while sharing a powerful message for audiences of all ages.
