Two Teens Charged In Connection With Sunday's Murder In Steele Creek
CMPD has arrested two 18-year-olds in connection to a homicide in the Steele Creek area Sunday night that prompted a manhunt.
Jalen Boulware has been charged with murder and Marvin Chavez-Quiffaro has been charged with accessory after the fact to murder.
Officers found 18-year-old Terale Claridy-Vaught with gunshot wounds in a neighborhood off Erwin Road while investigating a shooting at a nearby home. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The department says Boulware and Chevez-Quifarro both voluntarily came to CMPD headquarters to be interviewed before being turned over to the Mecklenburg County Jail.
Boulware has previously been arrested for possession of marijuana and larceny.
