There was an unintended firework display in Fort Mill this morning. A reporter with WCNC was about to do a live shot at Davey Jones Fireworks on Carowinds Boulevard before 6:00 a.m., when she saw smoke and flames. She called 911.
Video posted by the York County sheriff’s department shows crews hosing down the area as fireworks exploded through plumes of smoke. The Department says the flames were coming from a storage container outside the store.
