The Charlotte Jewish Film Festival kicked off its 22nd year on Saturday, Jan. 24. The festival, open to the entire community, has 17 feature films lined up celebrating and highlighting Jewish culture.

Recidivism rates remain high across America and programs that can help reduce those rates are now in jeopardy with federal budget cuts.
