I'm working on a list of local celebrities that newcomers to Charlotte should be familiar with (in case you run into them on the street!). Here's what I have so far:

- Mandy Patinkin (The Princess Bride and Homeland star)
- Ric Flair (Professional Wrestler)
- Dale Earnhardt Jr. (NASCAR driver)
- Rielle Hunter (remember Senator John Edwards?)
- Emily Maynard (The Bachelorette)
- Paula Broadwell (General Petraeus' biographer ... and special friend)
- Angie Harmon (Rizzoli & Isles actress)
