  • It is probably safe to assume that there are no other musical duos who represent a synthesis of Old-time Music and Klezmer favorites - “klezgrass.” Natalya Zoe Weinstein comes from a long line of klezmer and jazz musicians, and John Cloyd Miller, the grandson of bluegrass fiddling legend Jim Shumate, comes from bluegrass royalty. They are a Davidson favorite, having first performed at a Traditional music concert in 2017, and more recently appearing as our Music Department guest artists for the 2021 Holiday Gala.

  • Electric Jazz Harp
    International harp virtuoso Edmar Castañeda redefines jazz with his electrifying technique and genre-blending sound. Lauded for his collaborations with Wynton Marsalis, Paquito D’Rivera, and Béla Fleck, expect a one-of-a-kind performance that fuses Latin rhythms, jazz harmonies, and breathtaking virtuosity on the electric harp.

    Colombian-born harp virtuoso Edmar Castañeda has redefined the harp’s role in jazz, blending Latin rhythms, classical influences, and improvisational brilliance into a singular sound. A Latin Grammy nominee, he has collaborated with icons including Sting, Wynton Marsalis, Béla Fleck, and Paquito D’Rivera, while also contributing to Disney’s Encanto soundtrack as performer and music consultant. Praised by NPR and The New York Times for his astonishing technique and creativity, Castañeda has captivated audiences worldwide as both composer and bandleader. His latest project, Viento Sur, showcases his World Ensemble, expanding his global musical reach.

    The JAZZ ROOM provides a casual and intimate setting with tables and a full bar, reminiscent of the classic jazz rooms of yesteryear.

  • Held in conjunction with the City of Lancaster’s Christmas in the City, the 12th Annual Winter Native American Art & Craft Festival features jewelry, quilts, baskets, Catawba pottery, and more artwork and demonstrations by established and emerging Native American artisans from around the region!

  • Witches Night Out at the Waverly Wine Walk is a night of fun, shopping, and wine. Explore participating boutiques while enjoying special offers, discounts, and swag. Guests are encouraged to wear their best costumes for a chance to win giveaway prizes.

    Tickets are available for $20 early bird and $30 regular. All ticket sales support Carolina P.A.W.S., an organization dedicated to helping abandoned and abused cats and dogs find loving homes.

    Each ticket includes a swag bag and wine pours at participating boutiques, including Athleta, Urbane South, Ivy & Leo, fab'rik, Mainstream Boutique, and Scout & Molly's. Check-in takes place at a yellow tent by the splash pad on The Terrace at Waverly, located in front of the Hilton Garden Inn.
