Sawyer Grantt Davis of Morehead City, North Carolina, is a sports communication major in the James L. Knight School of Communication at Queens University of Charlotte. Sawyer also competes on the Men's Track and Field team. Before coming to Charlotte, Sawyer hosted a podcast in his hometown. This allowed him to share history and news with residents while also building his resume in journalism.

Mary Shanahan of Hillsborough, North Carolina is a Literary Studies major in the College of Arts and Sciences at Queens University of Charlotte. Mary is also a member of the Women's Swimming team at Queens.

Jocelyn Hunter of Troutman, North Carolina, is a Multimedia Storytelling major in the James L. Knight School of Communication at Queens University of Charlotte. Jocelyn is also a member of the Campus Union Board. Previously, she has worked professionally creating social media content and strategy for local racetracks in the Charlotte area.

Roberta Rampton is NPR's White House editor. She joined the Washington Desk in October 2019 after spending more than six years as a White House correspondent for Reuters. Rampton traveled around America and to more than 20 countries covering President Trump, President Obama and their vice presidents, reporting on a broad range of political, economic and foreign policy topics. Earlier in her career, Rampton covered energy and agriculture policy.

Ben de la Cruz is an award-winning documentary video producer and multimedia journalist. He is currently a senior visuals editor. In addition to overseeing the multimedia coverage of NPR's global health and development, his responsibilities include working on news products for emerging platforms including Amazon's and Google's smart screens. He is also part of a team developing a new way of thinking about how NPR can collaborate and engage with our audience as well as photographers, filmmakers, illustrators, animators, and graphic designers to build new visual storytelling avenues on NPR's website, social media platforms, and through live events.

She has been with the NPR Politics team since President Trump's inauguration. Before that, she was among NPR's first engagement editors, managing the homepage for NPR.org and the main social accounts. Dana has also worked as a weekend web producer and editor, and has written on a wide range of topics for NPR, including tech and women's health.
