As Charlotte has grown and changed, planners have been working to ensure that we remain a “livable city.”  We’ve been concentrating on walkability, bike lanes, greenways, etc. Officials even traveled to Europe to get a first-hand look at communities there. One expert says that a livable city is one where everything you need is within a 10-minute walk. We’ll hear more and you can decide if what he says is achievable here.
