Erik Jendresen, a TV writer and producer is best known for co-creating Band of Brothers on HBO.  He joins guest host Erik Spanberg to talk about D-Day, its 75th anniversary, and the making of Band of Brothers

Today marks the 75th anniversary of the D- Day landings, in which more than 150,000 allied troops stormed the beaches of Normandy, France. Their goal: Push the Nazis out of Western Europe and turn the tide of World War II.

While the operation was a success, it came at a great cost. TV writer and producer Erik Jendresen co- created the miniseries Band of Brothers, which followed the lives of troops serving during World War II.
